The National Monuments Service's description
Peat-cutting on a level shelf on the S side of Knocklomena has exposed a 34m stretch of E-W stone trackway, which disappears at E beneath a .5m high peat-face. It is 1.5m wide, has well-defined edges, and is formed of large flat slabs.
