The National Monuments Service's description

About 50m SE of KE083-046----. A D-shaped drystone hut with an entrance at W. D: 3.4m x 2.1m. H: .6m. T: .8m. A subrectangular structure of boulders and slabs set on edge, located 1m to SW, possibly an animal pen.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 1153. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
