The National Monuments Service's description
In upland heath pasture, on a SW-facing slope (146m OD), overlooking Kealduff River valley to S; tributary stream c. 40-50m to W and curving around, c. 25m S. A slightly rough and fractured sandstone rock outcrop (dims. 0.80m NE-SW; 0.50m NW-SE; max. H 0.50m) which has a sub-rectangular decorated surface (dims. 0.26m NE-SW; 0.23m NW-SE) with a NW-facing aspect. The rock art is very clear and concentrated across the western margins of the decorated surface. The main decoration consists of a cup-and-two ring motif (diam. 15cm) having a cupmark (diam. 4cm; D 5mm) and ring (Wth 1cm; D 4mm), located centrally on the W margin. Two cup-and-one ring motifs (dims. 6cm N-S; 7cm E-W) each having a cupmark (diam. 3cm; D 3mm) and ring (Wth 1cm; D 4mm) are adjacent to NE and S. There is a very faint cup-and-ring motif (diam. 13cm) having an oval cupmark (diam. 2.5cm x 4cm; D 3-4mm) and ring (Wth 1cm; D 2mm) adjacent. A cupmark (diam. 2cm; D 2mm) is adjacent to S of the southern cup-and-ring motif. There are pickmarks amongst the motifs and what appears to be a linear band of pickmarks defining the decorated surface to E.
