The National Monuments Service's description
Lying on its W wall of hut KE082-081---- is a bullaun-type stone, .93m x .62m x .2m, which features a circular depression, .33m in diameter, on its upper surface. It may perhaps derive from the holy well (KE082-021----) in the neighbouring townland.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 1196. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
