The National Monuments Service's description
In level area of blanket peat (cutaway bog to W) and adjacent to rock outcrop (156m OD). Land rises up steeply to SW; Ballaghbeama Gap to NW and Kealduff River close to NE. Very rough and fractured sandstone rock outcrop (dims. 0.85m N-S; 1.1m E-W; max. H 0.2m) with a triangular-shaped decorated surface (dims. 0.4m N-S; 0.55m E-W) having an S-facing aspect. The rock art is visible although the surface of this stone is very weathered and has natural striations (long-axis E-W) and a lot of small, natural depressions. The motifs consist of five possible cupmarks (diam. 2-3cm; D 5-8mm); two cup-and-one ring (total diam. 10-12-cm) consisting of a deep cupmark (diam. 6cm; D 1.5-2cm). All are complete except one ringmark which is partially visible. Small knoll with standing stone (KE082-031----) is c. 50m to S. (Finlay 1973, 87-8; O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996, 94, no. 311, Fig. 59e)
