The National Monuments Service's description
Not marked on the OS maps, this tall standing stone was located in rough pasture SE of the Owenroe river, not far from the site marked ‘Ooangallaun Cave’(KE082-018----). It stood about (1.8m) high, and was apparently removed sometime around the turn of this century (local information).
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 229. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
