The National Monuments Service's description

In rough stony pasture, on the floor of a sheltered corrie at the NE side of Knockmoyle Mountain. The remains of a square structure (1.35m NW-SE; 1.35m NE-SW; H 1.1m) defined by a well-constructed drystone wall (T 0.55m) topped with a corbelled roof of stone slabs. A single stone slab lies on the floor. The lintelled entrance (Wth 0.4m; H 0.8m) is at SE. There are earthen and turf sods on top of the slightly domed roof. The possible sweathouse is cut (D 0.8m) into the hillslope at NW.
