The National Monuments Service's description

Located on blanket bog below the saddle that joins Coomacarrea and Meenteog mountains, the dominant aspect from this wedge-tomb is along the Inny valley to S. It is aligned E-W and comprises a totally collapsed chamber, preceded at W by a portico. Slight traces of cairn material are apparent at N and E. The S side of the chamber is represented by two outwardly collapsed slabs; that at W measures 1.02m x 1.43m x .14m, and the other measures 1.15m x 1.19m x .13m. The N side-stones have collapsed inwardly and remain largely concealed beneath peat and two collapsed roof-stones. The latter have average dimensions of 1.3m x 1.08m x .14m. The chamber, which appears to have decreased in width towards E, measured approximately 2.3m long. The N side of the portico consists of two upright stones, which stand 1.04m and .66m high. Its S side is missing but two prostrate slabs, averaging 1.05m x .71m x .13m, lie nearby. A further slab, lying within the area of the portico, may be a displaced septal-stone.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 83. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
