The National Monuments Service's description
This standing stone is located in a forestry plantation on the lower SE slopes of Bentee mountain. It is 1.37m high, and measures .98m x .32m at base; NE-SW. A short distance to the NW, on the same slope, is a stone pair (KE080-036----).
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 143. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
