The National Monuments Service's description
In wet boggy pasture on the lower SW slopes of Caunoge, The ruined foundations of three huts KE080-026----, KE080-026002- & KE080-026003-, with average internal dimensions of 3m. The overgrown drystone walls survive two to three courses high. There are a number of old field boundaries in the immediate vicinity, some with entrances marked by conspicuous uprights.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 1363. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
