The National Monuments Service's description
A circular enclosure is marked at this location on the OS maps. No surface trace of the site remains, but local information recalls a stone-built souterrain passage (KE080-009001-) here which was filled in many years ago. The enclosure was located on a W facing slope.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 695. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
