The National Monuments Service's description

Leacht (KE079-056004-): A low mound of subrectangular plan is located within the rectangular enclosure and measures 5.4m N-S 3.9m E-W. It averages .4m high and traces of rough drystone facing are visible at intervals along its base. It is constructed of earth and stone and includes a number of quartz blocks and pebbles.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 932. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
