The National Monuments Service's description
The arc at N indicates a hut (KE079-052001-) with an internal diameter c. 3m, and that at S, c. 5.5m. The exposed inner wall-faces are preserved up to .3m high and are horizontally coursed. The walls vary from .6m to .9m thick.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 479. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
