The National Monuments Service's description
There are reputed to be two souterrains in the site (King 1931, 44), one (KE079-046002-) of which extends outside it to SE. Two features, named 'Caves', are marked on the OS 6-inch first edition map along the interior northern and southern sections of the cashel enclosure.
