The National Monuments Service's description
Among the finds from the occupation levels of the site were iron knives and nails, quantities of iron slag (KE079-016011-), bone comb fragments, whetstones, fragments of rotary querns, a ploughsock, a sickle and a bronze ring-headed pin.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 602. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
