The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise with a thin covering of peat, immediately SW of Coosatorinth, Valencia Island. The ruins of at least three huts occur within an old field system which occupies an area with a radius of about 100m. Mitchell postulates an Early Medieval date for the cluster (1989, 69).
(1) KE078-025----; At the N end of the complex, a two-roomed rectangular hut built up against the W side of a large rock outcrop. D: 5m x 4m. About 20m S is a roughly oval-shaped cluster of slabs, 9m x 5.5m; nearby is a 15m stretch of wall that runs beneath the bog at its S end.
(2) KE078-025001-; At the SE end of the complex, the ruined remains of a circular hut foundation defined by upright slabs. D: 3.1m. Located immediately NE is a low sod-covered mound with erect slabs at its centre.
(3) KE078-025002-; At W, a two-roomed rectangular hut with a basal row of uprights. D: 5.7m x 3.7m.
