The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture, in the valley of the Flesk River. This burial ground is in a roughly triangular area defined by a slightly curving bank of earth and stone (L 28m NNW-SSE; Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6m) at SW, by a modern field boundary (28m NNE-SSW) at E, and by a slightly raised stony area (30m SW-NE) at NW. This stony area is occupied by uninscribed upright and fallen grave-markers, many of which are obscured by overgrowth. According to local information, it is known as a 'cillín' and burials took place here up to the mid-20th century. A cross-slab (KE076-011002-) is within the interior of the burial ground. According to Dennehy (1997, 164), the 'markers radiate out from the cross-slab which appears to have acted as a focal point throughout the use of the ceallúnach'.
