The National Monuments Service's description

In the 1940s, a souterrain (L 10 yds [9.14m]) was recorded in 'an old fort' (KE075-022----) in 'Con Donoghue's farm' (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). It was 'about 300 yards [274m] from the house' and was 'round roofed paved with stones on each side' being very low at the entrance, increasing in height as it extended inwards and decreasing in height again 'in farther' where a 'big hole' was visible (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). The precise location of this souterrain is not known.
