In pasture, on a slight N-facing slope, c. 15m N of a road. A circular area (diam. 28m) defined by a bank (Wth 8m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H 2.1m) of earth and stone. There is stone-facing on the inner face of the bank S-SW. The entrance (Wth 2m) is at NE and is defined by stone-facing on the N and S sides. A breach (Wth 2m) also occurs in the bank at S. The N portion of the interior is raised (H 1.6m) to compensate for the slight hillslope. This rath is indicated as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map.
