The National Monuments Service's description
A humpback road bridge (Wth 5.4m; long axis E-W) connecting Muckross demesne to Brickeen island between Lough Leane and Muckross Lake. It is currently used as a pedestrian bridge on a walking route in Killarney National Park. It is built of random rubble sandstone and has a single pointed arch (span c. 8m) with long roughly dressed voussoirs. Sloping buttresses and terraced walls flank the arch on the upstream and downstream sides.
