The National Monuments Service's description
In rough upland pasture, on the E bank of the Gaddagh River on the N-facing slopes of Macgillycuddy's Reeks. A roughly D-shaped area (4.6m E-W) defined by a linear scarp (L 4m N-S; H c. 2m) at E and by a partially collapsed drystone wall (T 0.9m; H 1.45m) S-N. The entrance (Wth 0.9m) is at NE. A hut site (KE073-052002-) lies c. 25m to the SE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
