A short distance uphill from KE073-012----, a small oval enclosure is situated on a natural ledge and is built into the gradient of the mountain. Not marked on the OS maps, its enclosing drystone wall is .7m high and 1.2m wide. The enclosed area measures 6.8m N-S x 9.1m E-W.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 719. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
