The National Monuments Service's description
A 'lios' was recorded N of the houses in Boheeshil village (Ó Cíobháin 1978, 43). Not marked on the OS maps, its precise location could not be determined though the site was known of locally.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 634. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
