The National Monuments Service's description

In rough pasture, in cutaway bog on the lower SW slopes of Slievanore. The remains of a roughly D-shaped hut site (2.4m E-W) defined by the heather-covered lower courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.65m; H 0.45m) and by a straight E side (L 2.6m N-S). The drystone wall protrudes above the surface of the shallow bog.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
