The National Monuments Service's description
In mountain heath (168m), on a NE-facing slope, on S side of stream. Good views overlooking Behy River valley to NE. A smooth and fractured sandstone (dims. 3.10m N-S; 3.10m E-W; max. H 0.40m at W) which is irregular in plan. It has a linear decorated surface (dims. 0.25m N-S; 0.60m E-W) which is generally flat and bears very faint motifs which are obscured by black mosses. A linear arrangement of three decorative elements (long-axis E-W) consisting of a cup-and-three-ring motif (overall diam. 20cm; cup dims. 2cm x 3cm; D 3mm; ring Wth 1-1.5cm; D 1-2mm) located in the centre; A cup-and-two-ring motif (overall diam. 12cm; cup diam. 2cm; D 2mm; ring Wth 1cm; D 1-2mm) is adjacent to W and a cupmark (diam. 5cm; D 4mm) is adjacent to E. Rock art (KE071-NEW90) is c. 2.9m to SW and rock art (KE071-179----) is c. 4m to SSE.
