The National Monuments Service's description
Identified and described by Aoibheann Lambe as an; 'Earthfast sandstone boulder, roughly square in plan, its irregular upper surface has two main sections, a higher section at E and the inscribed lower section at W which is framed by cracks and a step to an upper section. A 2cm-wide pocked line extends NS for 53cm from the base of the step to a crack. E of the pocked line in the same section, other motifs include one cupmark (D: 5cm) and a row of 3 mini-cupmarks. Immediately to SE is rock art panel'.
