The National Monuments Service's description
This monument was initially identified as rock art by Aoibheann Lambe in 2014. In area of cutaway bog, on a gentle NE-facing slope (205m), c. 11m to S of rock art site (KE071-082----); turf bank c. 4m to NW. A very rough and fractured, sandstone rock (dims. 2.00m NE-SW; 1.00m NW-SE; max. H 0.20m), which has a flat, irregular shaped decorated surface (dims. 0.70m NE-SW; 0.45m NW-SE). Almost half of this rock is covered by thick peat and the motifs that are visible are extremely weathered. The motifs are concentrated upon the exposed NE-half of decorated surface and consist of five cupmarks. Two cupmarks (diam. 4cm; D 5-6mm) are joined together by a curvilinear groove (L 9cm; Wth 1cm; D 3-4mm) and there is a smaller cupmark (diam. 2.5cm; D 3mm) located between these. A curvilinear groove encloses this set of motifs E->S->W. A large cupmark (diam. 10cm; D 3-4mm) is located to N and a second similar sized cupmark to W, is partially covered by peat. Two cup-and-one ring motifs (diam. 7-9cm) having a cupmark (diam. 3.5-4cm; D 4mm) and ring (Wth 1cm; D 2-3mm) are located centrally and to E. A cup-and-ring motif (diam. 22cm) is defined by a square cup (dims. L 9cm; D 4mm) with rounded corners and a ring (Wth 1.5-2cm; D 2mm).
