The National Monuments Service's description
This cairn is located on the NW edge of the level summit of Beenmore mountain, from where there are spectacular views over Dingle Bay to N, and along the valleys of the Behy and Ferta rivers to E and W respectively. Subcircular in plan, it measures 3.45m NE-SW x 3.9m NW-SE and is 1.25m in maximum height. It is composed of a loose jumble of slabs and a small amount of quartz.
