The National Monuments Service's description

In rough heather and gorse-covered grazing, on the lower SE-facing slopes of Knocknadobar Mountain. The remains of collapsed stone walls (T 0.9m; H 0.4m), which protrude above the surface of the bog, occur in a roughly rectangular area (c. 105m NW-SE; c. 25m NE-SW). The partially grass-covered remains of the walls are strewn haphazardly as they extend to the NW and to the SE of two hut sites (KE070-015----, KE070-015001-). (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996, 402, no. 1270)

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
