In the 1940s a rath, called 'Lisín Maol an tSionnaigh', was recorded in John Donoghue's land (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). It was also called 'Lios na platainge' and 'people used to pay rounds here' (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). This possible rath has not been precisely located.
