The National Monuments Service's description
Recorded in the 1940's as a 'cathairín … about a quarter of a mile to the south-west of The City (The Cathair) and 200 yards from Cathairín an Ghrafaigh [KE068-034---], in William Creedon's land. The circular wall is in a good state of preservation, 6 feet [1.82m] wide, 5 feet [1.52m] H outside, 6 feet [1.82m] H inside; diameter inside 18.5 feet [5.63m]. From it can be seen a fort in Caisleach and another in Meall an Ghabha. The three are in a straight line' (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). Its precise location is not known.
