The National Monuments Service's description

In rough pasture, on the N-facing slopes of The Paps of Dana. A circular area (19.4m E-W; 19m N-S) defined by a grass-covered collapsed stone wall (Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.2m), on top of which is built a drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 1.4m) of uneven height. A break (Wth 1.6m) at ESE may indicate an entrance. Lazybeds run N-S across the interior, which is partially obscured by rushes and ferns. A recent drain is close to the W side. An irregular-shaped annexe (8m N-S; 7.2m E-W), defined by a similar drystone wall, abuts the rath externally at N; the entrance (Wth 1m) to the annexe is at SE close to where the annex wall meets the cashel wall.
