The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on top of a hillock with views S to The Paps of Dana. This rath is not visible at ground level. It is indicated as a subrectangular enclosure (dims. c. 50m x c. 50m) on the 1894 OS 6-inch map and as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. According to local information, land reclamation was carried out in this area some years ago but prior to that 'there was a circle with a ditch around it, which was always covered in briars.'
