The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating pasture, on top of an elevation with views S to Mangerton Mountain. According to local information, a roughly circular mound (7m E-W; 6m N-S; H 1.9m) mainly of stones of varying shapes and sizes, is the remains of a rath. The field in which this mound is situated is known as the 'fort field'.
