The National Monuments Service's description

In rough heather-clad mountain pasture, on a break of a steep NE-facing slope with views NE over Lough Leane. The remains of a rectangular hut site (3.2m NW-SE; 2.1m NE-SW) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m). A boulder is incorporated into the wall at the N corner. Rubble from the collapsed wall is obscured by ferns and is scattered along the perimeter both internally and externally. Two other hut sites (KE066-141002-, KE066-141003-) are c. 75m to the S.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
