The National Monuments Service's description

The church of 'Donlethi' is listed under the deanery of Hacudeo (Aghadoe) in the Papal Taxation List (1302- 06) for the diocese of Ardfert (Cal Docs Ire, V, 297). Hickson suggested that this was to be identified as Dunloe (1891, 10). In 1633 it is noted in connection with the church of 'Knockan' (KE065-012001-), when Willmus Lane was the incumbent minister of both churches (TCD MS 2158, 37). The location of this church has not been identified.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 1098. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
