The National Monuments Service's description
This fulacht fiadh is located in pasture a short distance S of Dromaloughane tower house (KE065-059----). It consists of a low, flat-topped mound of roughly circular plan which measures 15m N-S x 16m E-W and .5m high. Its N edge was disturbed during the construction of a golf course in 1993. Here the mound was seen to be composed of fire-shattered stone and blackened soil with a substantial charcoal content.
