The National Monuments Service's description
A stony mound located close to the inner face of the bank at S may be the remains of a hut site (KE065-086001-). It measures c. 8m square and rises up to .8m high above the level interior of the rath.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 512. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
