The National Monuments Service's description

The circular enclosure marked at this location on the second edition of the OS maps was levelled in the 1950s (local information). Its W half survives as a raised platform, standing 1.6m above external ground level. This, combined with slight surface indications of an enclosing bank elsewhere, suggests that the enclosure measured approximately 31m N-S x 34m E-W. The site was located on a low natural rise just N of Knockbrack mountain. Lispadrickmore (KE065-085----), a rath, lies about 120m to ESE.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 631. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
