The National Monuments Service's description

Lismore/Lios Mór: The field in which this site was located is called 'Parkalassa' (OSNB Killorglin, 43), a name which is also applied to a rath 350m to NNW (KE065-025----). There are no visible remains of this site, which is marked as a circular enclosure on the OS maps. It was located about 70m SE of KE065-026---- at the junction of a number of field boundaries which have now been removed. The site overlooks the Finglas river a short distance to E.

The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 645. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
