Located in a commanding position high on the S slopes of Seefin mountain, overlooking the S end of Caragh Lake, are a number of pre-bog walls, a drystone hut and an enclosure. Both linear and curvilinear stretches of walls occur, the longer stretches running with the slope of the mountain. Intersections are few and the longest individual stretch of wall measures approximately 50m. On average the walls are .5m high and .8m wide; slabs and boulders are used in their construction.
Scarped into the slope on a slight ledge are the foundations of a circular, corbelled, drystone hut (KE063-023002-). The S portal of its .75m wide entrance remains in situ; two substantial stones lying adjacent at E may be the other portal and the lintel. The hut is filled with stone collapse. It measures 2.4m internally and its wall survives to a maximum height of .4m; it is .9m thick. Nearby, at E, is a subcircular enclosure (KE063-023003-), roughly constructed of boulders. It has a maximum internal diameter of 2.9m and is .6m high and .7m thick.
