The National Monuments Service's description
An Bothán: A circular drystone foundation, c. 2.5m in diameter internally. An old field system and cultivation ridges are visible in the near vicinity. (O'Leary and Snodgrass 1976, 15).
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1383. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
