The National Monuments Service's description

In marshy pasture, on a SE-facing slope. In the 1940s a fulacht fia was recorded in Felix Sweeney's land in the field of the well (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). The field of the well was identified by the present landowner but there are no visible remains of the possible fulacht fia.
