The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, at the summit of a N-facing slope. An oval area (56m N-S; 42m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.5m) S-NE, by a scarp SE-S and by a bank which is incorporated into a field boundary system NE-SE. There is a possible entrance (Wth c. 4m) at NE. A grass-covered mound in the E quadrant of the interior is associated with the limekiln indicated here on the 1894 OS 6-inch map. A road skirts the rath along the S arc.
