The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. This rath is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a large subcircular area (diam. c. 40m) truncated SE-SW by an E-W field boundary. According to local information, it was levelled during land improvement works in the 1990s. Two short stretches of a bank, c. 20m apart and projecting from the N side of the field boundary, may be the partial remains of the rath.
