The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on the summit of hill. A raised circular area (diam. 15.9m) defined by three fosses with intervening banks and an outer bank. The inner fosse (Wth 3.55m; D 0.4m), which is waterlogged N-E, is surrounded by a low flat-topped earthen bank (int. H 0.85m; ext. H 0.75m). The second fosse (Wth 5m) is surrounded by the second earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 0.9m). The third fosse (Wth 5m) is truncated along the NW arc by a field boundary and was infilled along the SE arc in recent times. The external earthen bank (int. H 1.25m; ext. H 0.8m), which is evident NNW-S and WSW-WNW, is incorporated into a field boundary system NNE-WSW. The outer bank is narrowest along the SE arc. The entrance is at E, where there is also the remains of a causeway across the third fosse. According to local information, an entrance gap in the outer bank at E is now blocked. A recent breach through the banks at W is in line with a farm gate to the W. There is a standing stone (KE060-004002-), slightly off-centre, in the level interior. There is a local tradition of a children's burial ground (KE060-004003-) on or near the S arc of the outer bank.
