The National Monuments Service's description
Rev. W. Ferris (d. 1971) recorded 'a layer of burnt stones and decayed moss' under '6ft. [1.82m] of bog, dug out 40 or 50 years ago' in Martin Culloty's land (WFP). It has not been precisely located.
