The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture on S-facing slope. Abuts a second limekiln (KE059-04502-) which stands to E. Random rubble front wall (H 3.4m; Wth 4.1m) faces S. Central arched recess (H 1.4m; Wth 1.6m; D 1.6m) with lower inner arch and sloping slabs to rear; ope at base. Horizontal ledge across front of kiln 2m above ground. Top inaccessible. Single limekiln indicated on 1846 OS 6-inch map.
