The National Monuments Service's description
In rough upland pasture, with views in all directions. A row of three stones, two of which are prostrate, appears to be aligned NNE-SSW. The SSW stone (L 1.2m; T 0.85m; H 2.2m) is upright and stands 1.5m from the prostrate middle stone (L 2.4m; T 1.5m; H 1m). The NNE stone (L 2.4m; T 1.5m; H 1m) is also prostrate and lies 1.5m from the middle stone. According to Casey (1998, 3), there are 'rock scribblings' on the E side of the upright stone. A stone which was described in the 1840s as a 'remarkable stone which stands perpendicular' and measures 'about 4 feet [1.21m] square and 6 feet [1.82m] high' may be the upright stone of this row (OSNB, Kilcummin, 33).
