The National Monuments Service's description
In a rath (KE059-003----). In the 1940s, a flagged underground passage, with rooms branching off it, which extended for 'about 1/4 of a mile [402m]' was recorded here (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). It was also noted that there were two entrances to it from the rath (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). There are no visible remains of this possible souterrain.
